The Hotel Barceló chain enters Poland. The first facility will be opened at the Powiśle Power Plant (Elektrowni Powiśle). On the roof of the building there will be an Iberian-style bar with a view of Warsaw.
The Powiśle Power Plant in its new form will open in spring 2020. Then the historic building of the former power plant from 1904 will be put into use. However, the developer is building a whole complex that has already been partially opened. In the next stage, the first Barceló group hotel will be built in Poland.
The hotel (7350 sq m) will have 150 rooms, conference rooms, and above all a rooftop bar in “Iberian style”. You can observe the nearby boulevards from above and, on the other hand, the skyline of Warsaw.
We are delighted with the planned opening of our first hotel in Warsaw, which will be part of such a unique project as the Powiśle Power Plant. The attractive location of the hotel, in one of the most dynamic and lively districts of Warsaw, perfectly fits our development policy, according to which we open our new hotels in unique locations around the worldsays Jaime Buxó of the Barceló Hotel Group.
The opening of the hotel is planned for 2021. Powiśle Power Station is built by White Star Real Estate.
