The coronavirus has forced changes in the operation of the Lodz airport. New rules were introduced on Friday morning.
New information related to the coronavirus pandemic appeared on the airport’s website and on social media profiles on Friday morning.
Completely new rules have been introduced:
- Only passengers with an air ticket can enter the terminal area. Escorts, as well as waiting for arriving passengers, will not be allowed inside.
- Passengers arriving in Łódź will need to complete Passenger Location Cards. The cards will be handed over to the Sanitary Inspector, who, if necessary, will contact the traveler asking about their well-being.
- All passengers arriving in Łódź will have their temperature measured. The measurement will be made while on board the aircraft. If among the passengers there is a person with a temperature above 38 degrees Celsius and symptoms that may indicate coronavirus infection, we will invite them to the tent next to the terminal and there will be medical services provided.
- We remind you that in places where travelers gather, we set up stalls with hand sanitizers. You do not need to press them with your hand or elbow. Just put your hand and wait a second.
It’s not over yet. The airport has received additional support: from today, the National Fire Service and Territorial Defense Army are helping us in preventive actions at the airport.
