Warsaw Gallery Weekend 2019
From the organizers: For the 9th time private art galleries invite you to the Warsaw Gallery Weekend. Especially for this occasion, 27 galleries from Warsaw and special guests from Gliwice, Katowice and Poznań will prepare premiere exhibitions of Polish and foreign artists. During the three September days, what will be most interesting and current on the Polish art scene will be presented. In addition, the program includes 9 accompanying exhibitions, events, concerts, meetings with artists and tours.

Bookstore Night 2019
This will be the first Book Night in Poland! On September 20, 2019, Book stores and other unique places around the country will open their gates and encourage with an interesting offer to visit them not only from holidays. The program Book Night includes author meetings, literary events, competitions, as well as special attractions for the youngest readers, such as the opportunity to spend the whole night (from dusk to dawn) in a bookstore.

Multimedia Fountain Park
This year in the Multimedia Fountain Park you can watch a performance called “Wars and Sawa”, a story of a fisherman named Wars, who fell in love with Syrena. A modern visualization displayed by lasers on a water curtain and choreography of fountains with music specially composed for the occasion with the final song “Song of the Mermaid” have been prepared for the performance. The inspiration for multimedia show has been a Warsaw legend and stories for many years. Last season we were able to watch the story of Prince Bear, in previous years the heroes of the shows were Basilisk and Warsaw mermaids.
The shows can be watched every Friday and Saturday throughout September at 20.30
The Multimedia Fountain Park is located in Podzamcze on the Square of the 1st Panzer Division of the Polish Army between the streets Bolięc, Wybrzeże Gdańskie, Sanguszki and Rybaki in the New Town.
Congress of Women
From the Organizers: Welcome to the 11th Congress of Women. As every year, we will debate, conduct workshops, get to know each other, argue and have fun. This year’s Congress will run under the slogan “Women’s elections: equality, ecology, democracy”.

Protest of Thousand Cities – Warsaw | Youth Climate Strike
From the organizers: Millions of students, parents and grandparents, will protest in thousands of cities around the world to show that they do not agree to the passivity of the rulers in the face of the deepening climate crisis – the BIGGEST protest will happen this weekend. September 20 is the last Friday before the UN climate summit in New York, where politicians are to decide on the fate of our planet. The rulers must know that SOCIETY DOESN’T AGREE to let our world die because of their ignorance.

Strachy na Lachy, Sobota na Mokotów
On Saturday from 11:00 – 22:00 in the Square of the Home Army “Granat” (intersection of Puławska and JP Woronicza Streets) there will be a family picnic “Sobota na Mokotów”. The organizers have prepared many attractions in the areas of: sport, culture, health and food trucks. However, the biggest of them will be a concert by Strachy na Lachy.

The Breakfast Market in Warsaw is an open air food market, during which we can try fresh products from local exhibitors. For many, they have become a permanent form of spending free time. “Under the cloud” we can eat in Mokotów (AK Granat square), Żoliborz (Aleja Wojska Polskiego 1) and Białołęka (Picasso Park).
FOOD TRUCK Festival Koneser Smaków
FOOD TRUCK Festival “Koneser Smaków” is two days of eating with different themes of the world. Drop by if you want to try Indian dishes, you can’t imagine a weekend without American dishes or you are only interested in Polish cuisine.

Walking Critical Mass – We want to go!
From the organizers: Two years have passed since the first Pedestrian Critical Mass, which passed through the streets of Warsaw demanding new pedestrian crossings, wide and even pavements and increasing pedestrian spending (…) Let’s fight together for pedestrian-friendly Warsaw and for available crossings center.

Public Transport Days 2019
Disarming the bomb on the bus, meeting celebrities and seeing how the machines work – on Saturday, September 21, Public Transport Days will take place in the depot at Ostrobramska. On this occasion you will also be able to get to know the “MZA” depot at Ostrobramska.

Night of the Temples in Warsaw
From the organizers: You have a question for a priest, but are you afraid to ask it? Do you want to see what a prayer looks like in a synagogue?
