Electric scooters, Warsaw. Lime, hive, Bird, CityBee and Blinkee City. These are the companies whose logos we see on electric scooters exposed on the streets of the capital. Now ‘Quick’ – a Polish company based in the Tri-City joins the group of companies offering minute rental of two-wheelers. Warsaw is the fourth city (after Gdańsk, Gdynia and Sopot) in which Quick offers its services.
The sixth operator on the Warsaw scooter market
The Tri-City company Quick makes its debut on the Warsaw market as the sixth operator of electric scooters rented for minutes. Until now, two-wheelers belonging to this company operated only in Gdańsk, Gdynia and Sopot. The first white and blue vehicles of the seaside Quick appeared in Warsaw on Thursday, October 24.
The mechanism of renting scooters of a new operator is no different from the systems we know so far. To use the rides, first of all you need to download the mobile application on your smartphone. After adding the payment method, you can search for the scooter closest to us via GPS. Then you need to scan the QR code assigned to the vehicle and you can fully enjoy the ride of a scooter.
How much do you have to pay to rent a Quick scooter? The loan itself is associated with a starting fee of PLN 3 , and each subsequent minute costs 50 gr . How much do electric scooters cost in Warsaw?
The price list is as follows:
- Lime – PLN 3 of the starting fee + PLN 50 for each minute of driving
- hive – 2.50 PLN of entry fee + 45 grosze for every minute of ride
- Bird – PLN 3 of the starting fee + PLN 50 for each minute of ride
- citybee – 2.50 PLN + 45 grosze for each minute of driving
- Blinkee City – 2.50 PLN + 49 grosze for each minute of drivinh
As you can see, the offers of individual companies do not differ significantly from each other, but when using this type of service regularly, it is worth choosing the most cost-effective option. When deciding to set up an account with any of the operators, it is worth considering the opinions of existing users. We can often observe differences in the quality of vehicle performance or smooth operation of the application. Ultimately, all this can affect the price we will pay for the ride.
Adding the fleet of electric scooters of all enterprises, there are currently approx. 4,000 available in Warsaw this kind of vehicles. The entry of a new company into the capital market heralds an increase in this number, most likely by another several hundred two-wheelers.
