Workers have begun work at the soon to be Galeria Łodygowa. They are already installing windows for future stores. The investment – which was abounded by a different who developer left a few years ago – was bought by the new owner. There will be several stores inside. Completion of construction is scheduled for this year.
Galeria Łodygowa should have been standing several years by now. Six years ago (in 2013) the capital’s developer – Dolcan – announced the construction of a shopping center in Targówek. The small gallery was to have three floors, 4 thousand. sqm. area and underground car park. It was to be a considerable commercial base for a new housing estates in Zaciszu.
The developer started construction in 2014, but at one point the building work just stopped. Soon Dolcan went bankrupt, and only a skeleton remained at the corner of Łodygowa and Potulicka. The site was taken over by ADS Inwest Bankruptcy Trustee last year. In February, the plot was put up for sale at the price of 17.8 million PLN. No offer was received in the first period. Only the third time it was publicly posted for sale was it possible to sell the property at ul. Łodygowa 26.
The public development conditions – issued back in the days of Dolcan from 2013 – show that “retail services” will be created there. Works have been going on since autumn.
The works are to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2020, and Dalf is responsible for the investment and commercialization. – tenants of the gallery will be known and recognizable fashion brands on the Polish market as well as a food operator and a drugstore – company representatives explain to us. The gallery (in front of the building and on -1) will have a car park for 200 cars.
It is known that Lidl and Rossman will appear in Galeria Łodygowa. In addition, tenants talk with fashion brands.
