The experts at NieruchomosciSzybko.pl portal, decided to conduct an online survey. Leszek Markiewicz on his profile in social media asked the question: “Where would you like to live in Warsaw if you had an unlimited budget for buying a flat?”. The internet users’ answers are not at all obvious.
It is known that when buying an apartment in Warsaw, we are guided not only by our needs and dreams, but above all – the price per square meter. Some locations in the city today can reach almost ten thousand zlotys, which is why many real estate buyers make decisions to buy an apartment on the outskirts of the city.
What would happen if each of us had an unlimited amount of money to buy property in Warsaw? Where would we deposit our money then? That’s what a real estate expert decided to ask. As a result, he received over two hundred comments, from which he created a list of “dream districts”. Importantly, in his statement he divided Praga into Saska Kępa and the remaining area of the district. – This division of Prague-South is justified, because Saska Kępa stands out strongly from the rest of the district and at the same time has gathered a lot of votes – emphasizes Leszek Markiewicz, an expert of the NieruchomosciSzybko.pl portal.
What districts of Warsaw would we like to live in?
The following locations were put forward to the voters:
- Mokotów – 17% of votes
- Żoliborz – 17% of votes
- Ursynów – 11% votes
- Wilanów – 11% of votes
- Bielany – 10% of votes
- Śródmieście – 8% of votes
- Ochota – 8% of votes
- Saska Kępa – 7% of votes
- Wola – 4% of votes
- Bemowo – 4% of votes
- Prague – South (except Saska Kępa) – 3% of votes
Interestingly, Targówek, which has recently been boasting a new metro line, was not among the mentioned districts. Downtown was also low, probably due to the fact that the central district of Warsaw is very crowded. Better results than Śródmieście recorded the following parts of the capital: Mokotów, Żoliborz, Ursynów, Wilanów and Bielany. – This situation suggests that a greater distance from the center of Warsaw is not a problem if a given district is connected by a metro line (see Bielany and Ursynów). This is an important tip for people who plan to buy a Warsaw premise with a view to profitable resale or rent – comments Markiewicz.
According to the survey – we are reluctant to live in Białołęka, Prague-North, Wesoła, Rembertów, Wawrze, Ursusie or Włochach
Do you agree with the voting? Where would you like to live?
