Atelier Amaro is the most famous Polish restaurant. For two reasons. The first one is the most important decoration in the whole culinary world – Michelin star. The restaurant has won the first star in the history of Polish gastronomy.
The second is the figure of the chef. Wojciech Modest Amaro is called the king of modern Polish cuisine and he is a charismatic juror in a culinary talent show.
Dishes served in the restaurant are called moments and they are always based on seasonal products so the menu changes all the time – that’s why you won’t find it online. The dishes are always inspiration of what’s fresh and tasty each day. You can order six moments which costs 290 zł or nine moments for 380zł. 6-moments dinner lasts about 2,5h and 9-moments dinner lasts about 3,5h. These are prices without drinks and wine.
Fridays and Saturdays only 9-moments menu is served.

In March 2016 Senses became the second restaurant in Poland to receive a Michelin star. Senses is definitely not just a restaurant and food related vocabulary might not be 100% relevant to describe the whole eating experience. Senses is something more – every dish is another artwork making you surprised in the most positive way.
Brilliant Italian chef Andrea Camastra plays with the food pairing rules, crosses boundaries and he turns ordinary, traditional polish dishes into unbelievable exotic sensual journey. In the restaurant you can even find their own food sensory lab. Flavours come from the best natural products that are found and approved by the Chef himself.
To keep the dishes real the restaurant imports products from all over the world – sea water from Italy, chocolate from Switzerland, meat and seafood from Spain, sturgeon caviar from the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.
Senses now offer three different tasting menus – Piccolo (320zł, served Monday-Thursday only), Medio (410zł) and Grande (530zł), both of which are served all week.

This restaurant is located in the Sobański Palace. The Sobański Palace is a historic residence accompanied by beautiful garden on Ujazdowskie Avenue, the most glamour street in Warsaw and part of the so-called Royal Route.
It houses the Amber Room restaurant (since 2009) and also is the headquarters of the Polish Business Roundtable Club. The restaurant was awarded with 4 forks in the Michelin Guide and in 2016 won the first prize in Poland Best 100 Restaurant 2016.
At this restaurant we will pay a highest amount only for the appetizer. 250zł must be paid for sturgeon caviar which was once a very rare product and was consumed only by tsar. From other snacks there is tuna tartare with avocado at the price of 69zł.
Main dishes are the next challenges for the portfolio – salt dover (with atlantic salt which is the hardest to buy and the most expensive) for 139zł.
The most expensive meat dish is beef fillet with foie gras, broccoli, potatoes and truffles in wine sauce for 94zł.
The tasting menu costs 280zł.
This is the author’s restaurant of the chef Jacek Grochowina. The owner and chef gained experience in many world-class restaurants, including the London’s Hotel Ritz.
You can eat here dishes of European cuisine based on seasonal products. As one of a very few places in Warsaw, the restaurant is open only during lunch and dinner hours.
In Nolita the tasting menu consisting of 6 dishes, costs 215 zlotys without drinks and 9 dishes – 275zł. Besides that in menu you can eat foie gras, mead, matcha, quince for 75zł, Aged beef fillet, asparagus, pepper sauce for 108zł or a selection of cheeses with homemade marmalade and toast for 48zł.

The Concept 13 restaurant received the recommendations of the Michelin guide 2014. Restaurant Concept 13 is located on the 5th floor of DH VITKAC. It offers a spacious, glassed interior which looks out on a beautiful panorama of the Warsaw skyline which can also be enjoyed from the summer outdoor terrace. The meals are international classics with a polish twist and some of them are prepared on tappanyaki grills. It is located very central, just by the famous palm tree, so it is a perfect spot for elegant business lunch. The restaurant is opened on every Sunday, even when the stores are closed due to the Sunday ban.
This is the only restaurant on the list that offers on the weekends, from 12.00 to 18.00, a children’s corner with toys, games and an animator.
Prices: the most expensive main is the BEEF SIRLOIN- 89 zlotys. The lunch menu, consisting of crustacean dishes, fish, risotto and dessert, we will taste for 59 zlotys and is served daily. In addition, the prices of individual meals range from 50 to 90 zlotys. However, they are mainly fish in small portions.

La Rotisserie offers an elegant, discreet interior. Frescoes on the walls, wood in combination with leather. And in the kitchen – one of the most experienced Chefs in Poland – Paweł Oszczyk. La Rotisserie in La Regina hotel has not disappeared from the list of the most expensive restaurants in Warsaw for years and offers a very premium location in old town.
As emphasized by the Chef we pay not only for the taste of the dishes. Above all, it costs a holistic experience which starts from the entrance to the premises and ends only the next day when you wake up in the morning and you feel that the previous evening we did not eat anything that would cause heartburn.
The restaurant received in 2016 the recommendation of the Michelin Guide in the form of two sets of cutlery. In 2016 the Chef Paweł Oszczyk was also honored with the title of the Head of the Year of the Gault & Millau guide.
What do you need to pay the most for a restaurant in Old Town?
118zł for Scottish lamb and 108zł for a vegetarian option – Turbot with cauliflower and Comté puree.
The most pricey starter is Foie gras escallop for 72zł.
If someone would like to eat both: appetizer, main course and dessert they would have to spend at least 300zł for a meal.
In the restaurant of the hotel you can also order a tasting dinner. The menu can cosist of four, five or six dishes. Respectively the price is: 188zł, 209zł and 232zł.

Belvedere restaurant attracts with its fantastic location. It is located in the building of the New Orangery in the Royal Łazienki Park. This unique building is more than 150 years old. The interior is filled with many tropical plants including a 100-years old palm tree.
The restaurant has been awarded every year by the Michelin Guide for ten years.
Belvedere was also the restaurant that prepared catering during the visit of President Barack Obama. During dinner, dishes such as: new potatoes with onion and herbs, anton roast in hay, rural tomatoes with curd cheese, cod with young spinach and red currant, cream of pine shoots with birch bark were served.
Beef tartare with pickles, marinated mushrooms, horseradish and lovage oil for 54zł are only a starter. The soup is minimum 28zł. And the main course? Currently the most expensive item in the card is Beef à la Tremo in a velvet sauce with boletus, plum in bacon, young potatoes and green beans with breadcrumbs for 105zł.
The restaurant offers business lunch from Monday to Friday between 12:00 and 16:00 for 71zł (2 dishes) or 81zł (3 dishes) and Sunday lunch for 129zł.
Talented pianists and singers perform smooth jazz music every evening from Monday to Friday starting from 19:30 and during Sunday’s lunch from 13:30.
